The hotel was just off of Collins and 17th which is a perfect location. Walking distance from the action but quiet when its time to relax. The staff was very nice and helpful with everything from dinner and club reservations to accomodating for individual needs. We felt as if they wanted us to have a good time with them there to accomodate rather than make us feel as if the gestapo were watching.
The advertisement did not indicate that there is no separate door to bedroom from the living area for privacy purposes. There is no self serve ice machine and no benches to sit on outside the room in the courtyard or out in front of the hotel.
Staff/ rooms/ access/ closs to lincon road / easy stroll to beach
Could do with coffey making machine in the room
so dirty, everything mass...
too dirty, the room is too simple.
The day I left
The room had only 2 working lamps, the rest was broken, the room smelt of mould, the pillows in the bed had make up on them, the fridge had a pond of brown water on the bottom of it and a lot of hair floating in it. My door broke and they spend an hour fixing it, the cleaning lady came in even though I had please do not disturb, and the breakfast was the poorest breakfast I have ever experienced.
No parking. This made it extremely difficult to get around since we would have no other choice than pay $30 a night for parking across the street. The "valet" person had me park my own car and on 3 occasions was not in the parking lot to give me my car causing me to arrive late to my meetings.
Hotel room was very well decorated and the free Wifi was of a really high standard.
The bed was not comfortable at all.
Room was poorly finished for a boutique hotel, tired is an appropriate word. As was the cleanliness of the room on check in. If you want to be in the centre it's a great location , however if you are there on business as I was , avoid this hotel as no real reception area , and wifi seriously patchy , maybe 30 percent access over 6 days. Room 106 is where I stayed , if your not happy being woken at 7 am by deliveries being dropped by the patio window , or staff gossiping on cigarette breaks from the same time as deliveries start , avoid 106 ! Just to be fair , I stay in hotels all over the world , 100 days a year , so I do know what's , good , bad and ugly .
Location according to Miami Beach Convention Centre perfect.
Room dirty, service lazy, price absolutely not fit to tnie standard
Either you failed to notify the hotel of our booking, or they failed to make a note I am forwarding you a letter
The location is perfect for those who wants to go on Collins ave and Lincoln.
The breakfast is a «joke» !! When I've asked to get milk to eat the cereal, I was told that there was no milk. They then took the boxes of cereal away from the breakfast «buffet», leaving few bagels. Note that the rooms are equiped with a microwave and a little kitchen area but there is no plates, glasses, nothing.... Note also that the pool is definitively closed.
Food (although expensive) and location.
Lack of coffee maker, crockery, cutlery and any other kitchen utensils despite there being a kitchen in the suite. Not too clean and in need of decoration. Poor value for money. Mix up in booking. Unhelpful staff. Pool closed. No privacy unless curtains permanently closed. Nowhere to dry hair, put on makeup etc apart from mirror above only wash basin located in dark spot.
Receptionist. She was very nice and offered us even better room than we reserved.
no own parking
Smell in the room was horrible and the bed linen was not change from previous guests. When we asked to change it, they said that it can be changed only tomorrow as the housekeeping is already gone.
Nice position very closed to ocean drive
The Hotel has a nice style, but perhaps the maintenance is not done from a lot of time (swimming pool non available, etc).
excellent facilities, a true sanctuary away from the intense heat of miami. Lovely staff, very helpful and polite.
